Helly Tech® is the waterproof/ breathable outer layer between you and the elements. For all activities in wet, cold and windy weather Helly Tech® protection is the ideal protective layer. The helly tech unique membrane stops water molecules going in, but lets moisture molecules escape. Keeping you dry from the outside and comfortable on the inside. Fully waterproof, windproof and breathable fabrics and constructions. For all situations and weather conditions where protection from the elements is needed.
Minimum 5.000 mm waterproofness and 5.000 g/24h/m2 breathability and typically in the range of 5.000-15.000 for both respectively.
What is Polartec?
The primary insulation layer among experienced outdoor enthusiasts for nearly two decades, Polartec® fabrics are available in a variety of unique textures and weights designed specifically to enhance performance in a variety of environs. Polartec® 100 weight fabrics are the lightest fleece in the series, and are an excellent choice for a warm first layer. Polartec® 200 provides optimal warmth and versatility in a midweight soft fleece. Polartec® 300 fabrics are the heaviest option, providing a thermal layer to wear on very cold excursions.
